Once again I have been asked the “Where did you find that _______? ” This time it was my typewriter. What can I say, I like old stuff.
I have a whole slew of vintage things that I want to photograph. But it has the side effect that my kids can look at some of those lists of things my kids will never know lists and say I know what that, that, that and this one are.
They know what a return carriage is and how it works. That coffee can be ground and ice cream made without electricity. ( I also have a pedal sewing machine and a loom.) They know the difference between a fountain pen, a quill pen and a cartridge pen. They know the difference between a 45, 75 and LP. They have actually seen an eight track tape and player. They know how an oil lamp works. This list could go on for a bit.
They both know how to do the Lindy hop, but at least that is something they learned at school. (Performing Arts School) It is good to know that I am not the only one messing with their place in time.

If you had to get locked in some place (book store, amusement park, etc) overnight alone, where would you choose to be locked in?
Museum. After reading the above, would you have to ask why?
