“We must look at the lens through we see the world, as well as the world we see, and that the lens itself shapes how we interpret the world.”
― Stephen R. Covey, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change
I started painting a large floorcloth that can also be used as a backdrop. I would share a photo of it, but what it would look like at this point is a large rectangle with a spotty layer of paint. In photography, I have three projects underway. I am participating in a styling challenge, a scavenger hunt and of course the year-long black and white challenge. This shot is for the theme get low. I read the theme and somehow in my mind it became low down. I decided that it was perfect for the theme because words can get low or cause someone to get low.
I am still working through the book, I’d rather be in the studio. Still gathering and collecting. I am working on a combination of Evernote and spreadsheets to track the information, and while the progress is slow on the gathering, so far it is the easiest for tracking on the go as I can snap photos with my phone as well as making notes, or even a short voice recording.
More later on this.
